Who We Are

Family Service is the oldest nonprofit in San Antonio. We have grown to address the social determinants of health, those barriers in people’s lives created by where they live, learn, work, play, and age that affect quality of life and health outcomes.

We provide services in 14 counties throughout South Texas, and our services include early childhood education, parenting education, behavioral health counseling, youth afterschool programs, family strengthening classes, supervised visitations and neutral exchange services, and in-home care for older adults.
