We are immensely grateful to the 77 companies from San Antonio who provided Christmas gifts to 437 families. Tinsley Smith, Director of Community Investment and Philanthropy, Zachry Group said “Zachry Group has been participating in Adopt a Family for several years and it is a project our employees truly look forward to, we appreciate the opportunity to work with Family Services because they help to make the entire experience personal, helping us learn more about the families and their needs and wants. At Zachry, we strive to make a positive impact, and Adopt a Family is a tangible and effective way for employees to help and support families in our community.”

In addition, we also had 140 individuals generously provide 157 families with Christmas gifts. This collective effort ensured that 2,795 individuals experienced the joy of opening gifts on Christmas morning.

We extend our sincere appreciation to everyone whose support made Adopt-A-Family possible.  A special thank you to our volunteers who participated in the Annual Wrapping with Jack event on December 5 at the Blue Bonnet Palace, sponsored by Jack Riccardi KTSA talk show host. This event was monumental, with an overwhelming outpouring of generosity from individuals, families, church groups, and school organizations. The sheer volume of gifts and donations received was awe-inspiring, reflecting our community’s incredible spirit of giving. It was heartwarming to witness so many people come together to wrap and donate gifts, making a significant impact on those in need. We are also incredibly grateful for the community members and companies who participated in helping with our weekend drop-offs. Their involvement was crucial in making Adopt-A-Family successful!
