Family Service Presa Community Center

Older Adults Services

Monday-Friday
8:30 am – 12:30 pm

Overview

Senior Adults gather at our center daily to socialize, learn and connect with others.

Every day, older adults come together at our center to socialize, learn, and build meaningful connections. By engaging with friends and staying active in our programs, participants strengthen their health and overall well-being. Our staff ensures that each senior feels supported and cared for while enjoying activities such as bingo, nutrition education, and festive celebrations.

We also connect our members with valuable resources from across San Antonio, helping them maintain a healthy, active, and fulfilling lifestyle.

Daily Lunch

We provide lunch daily – a nutritionally balanced meal.

We partner with  AACOG and Meals on Wheels who provide healthy warm meals for lunch.

We also partner with the San Antonio Food Bank to provide supplementary groceries for low-income seniors. The programs under the San Antonio Food Bank are:

  • Project H.O.P.E. (Healthy Options Program for the Elderly)
  • Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP)

There is no charge for these services. A donation is suggested for meals. All donations benefit the Senior Nutrition & Activity Program

Enrollment: Adults 60+ years of age

Please bring valid Texas Drivers License or ID, Social Security Award Letter or proof of income, and proof of current address. Our Senior Program Director will help you register and access all the resources available to you.
