Career Pathways Application

2025-26 Application 

During Career Pathways, youth attend after-school sessions twice a week during the school year. Sessions will be in-person at Family Service Neighborhood Place Best Buy Teen Tech Center.

You will be asked to provide:

  • Copy of social security card
  • Copy of birth certificate or Texas ID
  • Copy of proof of address (water bill, utility bill, lease, etc.)
  • Copy of School ID
  • Copy of Resume (If you have one)

Applicants must acknowledge and agree to the following commitments during the year and summer:

I will attend two sessions per week. Whether in-person or virtually.*
I will be on time, participate, and follow all program requirements.*
I will be courteous and respectful to all students in the program, Family Service staff, and any other guests in program.*
I will participate in Career Pathways sessions and be active in learning and complete assignments asked of me.*
In the event I am sick or cannot attend a session, I will let Family Service staff know as soon as possible via phone, text, or email.*
I will keep strong communication with Family Service staff and let them know if I have any questions or need any support.*
I understand that I will be contacted to schedule a meeting in-person at Family Service Neighborhood Place (3014 Rivas St. San Antonio, TX 78228). An interview does not guarantee placement into the Career Pathways Program.*
I understand there are limited spots in program and I may be placed on a waiting list if program reaches capacity.*
