The year-long mentoring program introduces students to academic and career opportunities as well as decision making, problem-solving, and life strategy skills. The students start in October and finish by participating in our Youth Summer Internship Program.

This year, our students’ journeys within the programs looked a little different. Typically we meet weekly in person and the students work on projects and have guest lecturers. Since March, participants have been continuing the program from home. We are incredibly proud of their determination, dedication, and resiliency!

All 17 students have finished the core work of the C2C program. They will start their paid summer internships next week. The summer internships align with their passions and offer them an opportunity for work experience and to utilize the skills honed through C2C.

Thank you to the Clubhouse Network and Best Buy for providing students with technology support, including laptops and hotspots to continue their work from home. We were thrilled to offer students a new iPad as part of their graduation celebration! The iPads will help them with their virtual and in-person internships as well as continue honing the technological skills they learned in the program.
