THE SAFE HAVEN project was formed out of a collaborative effort by the Bexar County Juvenile Probation Domestic Relations Office, Family Service Association’s KidShare Program, The Center for Family Relations, San Antonio Kids Exchange Program and The Family Violence Prevention Center. The Safe Haven project targets parents who have children under the age of 18 and have issues related to domestic violence, child abuse, sexual assault, or stalking. The Safe Haven project allows for appropriate levels of expertise and safety measures to be in place at our current locations for parents who require supervised visitation and choose safe exchange services.

The Safe Haven collaborative identified the Prue Police Substation in Northwest San Antonio as a new and third location to provide child-focused safe exchanges only and in the effort to meet the needs of families in this area. The Safe Haven project is fully operational and if interested you may contact either Family Service Association’s KidShare Program at 210-299-2476 or the Center for Family Relations Inc. San Antonio Kids Exchange at 210-733-3349 to set up services at either one of the office locations or at the Prue Substation.
