Helping Children Cope with Divorce

Parenting Class Focused on Co-Parenting and Navigating Change

Helping Children Cope with Divorce is a four-hour course designed to strengthen the parent-child relationship.

The course provides parents with the tools to better understand and meet the needs of their children during this transitional family period.

Parent education programs strengthen the parent-child relationship and help children cope with the divorce in the short and long term.

Divorcing parents are not in this alone. There are resources for developing a new family routine, navigating co-parenting, and discussing the new dynamic as a family such as Sesame Street “dealing with divorce.”

Children’s long-term exposure to parental conflict has a lifelong impact on their mental health, their future relationships, and their brain development. Providing strong support through co-parenting can help your child build a stronger future.
