NATIONAL ASSOCIATON OF EDUCATION FOR YOUNG CHILDREN (NAEYC)
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (San Antonio, TX) Four Family Service Head Start sites received accreditation status recently from the National Association of Education for Young Children (NAEYC). All sites achieved a score of 90% or higher on all criteria during the recent site visits. “Family Service is honored to receive this recognition, and would like to serve as a catalyst for other centers serving low income families to achieve this level of quality and service to the community” says Nancy L. Hard, President/CEO for Family Service. Family Service Head Start has become the first child development center based Head Start program to have NAEYC Accredited sites and the only sites in the state of Texas with this status.
