With today’s economic strains on many San Antonio families, Family Service Association and Bank of America Charitable Foundation partner to meet the critical needs for individuals on the pathway to economic stability.
“As we look to provide our community with important support services to individuals who are in an educational program such as GED or Job Training we are excited that Bank of America is providing financial support to us that will assist individuals in ways that will help them complete their program. This funding provides for utility, rental and transportation assistance for individuals in GED or Job Training. Bank of America’s investment in our organization and community will enable us to continue performing our vital work” says Nancy L. Hard, President/CEO of Family Service. This grant is part of ongoing investments by the Bank of America Charitable Foundation to address immediate critical needs, such as hunger and shelter, and longer term solutions that promote financial wellness through access to benefits and resources.
