DESCRIPTION:Earn money while you start a new career as a skilled carpenter\nRegistration Date:* August 30th\, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Family Service Neighborhood Place Cafeteria\nClass Training: September 20th–25th\nOSHA Training: September 27th & 28th\nfollowed by a 10-week apprenticeship for eligible participants \n*You must attend registration to be eligible for the training. \nStipends are provided at $15/hour for 25 hours a week\, if eligible\, while in training. Minimum requirements to participate are 18 years of age\, U.S. resident\, and Texas Driver’s License. \nSign up by calling 210-431-4425. \nThis class is in partnership with the City of San Antonio Office of Historic Preservation\, Nxt Level\, and Restore Education and is part of the Living Heritage Trades Academy. \n \nThis class is made possible in part by the generous support of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. \n
