Family Service Association

Individual Volunteer Opportunities

In 2008, 110 individuals at Family Service donated 15,785 valuable hours to helping individuals and families improve their lives and strengthen their communities. These volunteers:
  • signed up new teenage mothers for in-home parenting education
  • played with children while their parents were in court
  • led anger management groups to cut down on domestic violence
  • provided a safe and neutral environment for children to be exchanged between parents in conflict
  • provided companionship for lonely seniors
  • delivered holiday gifts to families in need and distributed uniforms for children who otherwise would not have them for school.
We have flexible evening and weekend hours available, opportunities for families to volunteer together, and a chance to partner with Family Service to make a difference in your community. Please complete the application and contact Kristy Walston at 299-2438 or email her at kwalston@family-service.org Listed below are many different ways you can become involved.
